View Full Version : Unreal Tourny 2004
I noticed that there is an update for Unreal Tourny 2004 to version 3204, and then when looking for a fixed exe, I see that there is not one for the public versions. Does this mean that the old crack works for the updated version? or is there just not a crack as of yet?
Thanks in advance. :)

Why don't you test it? I think they did what the always do with Unreal Tournament... after few patches they dosen't include protection on the .exe files....
The reason I did not just test it is because the 6 disk installation if the crack does not work. I just wondered if someone had already had knowledge of it or not. Thanks for responding so quickly though. :)

so what you are saying is that you can't put in your original cd untill a crack is avible?
your putting words in my mouth. I just find it handy to not have to swap cds in my drive for every different game. call me lazy..
Theres no need to 'badger' posters about whether they own an original or not... From what I read on these forums, the protection is now removed anyway, as krondike hinted at... At least thats what I think I read, search and confirm if you want ;)

LOL
Why don't they read the readme??? There is clearly said, that the protection check is removed. I would close every thread. :D

I didn't put words in your mouth. I asked you. Nothing more nothing less.
By the way few tips on the road.
IF you are not shure.
Install the game and don't patch. Use the 1.0 version of the crack avible at GCW.
But like I said, Unreal Tournament always remove the protection about few patches. Wonder why they can't learn there lesson. If they got problems with the protection why don't they skip to protect the game on the first version?!
Anyway you got your answer! sheers!
do what? Read a readme? Are you kidding me? Who reads those? :P Thanks guys.
*lifts hand* I DO! :) oh and krondike, its basicly to reduce piracy in the early days of the game being released :)
