I'll tell you what I use. If you go to a model shop, ask them for a pair of part snippers. They are fantastic, and can strip ANY wire incredibly easily...

Yeah they're good. I've cut huge bits of plastic, metal and wire sheathing and they go straight through. The impressive thing is they are still as sharp as the day I bought them 5 years ago. :D

They're great if you can get hold of them... Like I said, g to a model suppliers on the net or in town etc... and find some. I love mine

Sped told me you could also heat the end of your wires with your soldering iron.

yea thats what i have done so far with my duox but it takes ages and not as accurate beacause u dont know how much to chop. and u could be left with a short or long wire!

Nothings perfect seaney, and if you find it too hard to use anything you already have for this simple project then nothing will be able to help you.

hmmm.....only takes a split second for me. Plus it tins the wire at the same time. And the bit about not knowing the length will apply no matter what method you use. My suggestion is cut it longer then you think your going to need...wire is cheap!

*EDIT*: BTW we got way off topic with this one! Wasn’t it about the F-14? I think the F-14 sucks only because it doesn’t support NTSC consoles, which means I have never really checked it out and cant give a comment on it...but wait I already gave a comment that it sucks but I cant because...oh geez there I go talking in circles again!
