OK, got my PS2 mod chip done last week. Works a treat. Anyone have an idiot guide on how to back up a PS2 game. My dad has tried but it never works.

Hi,

If you have NERO or similar.

Create an image from the original disc and then burn back to a DVD-R at 2 speed. Also use decent media as your ps2 might be fussy like mine.

Try using record max now ..it's the easiest and most reliable program for backing up your ps2 games.
All the instructions are in the back-up stickies.
Most dvd/rw now come with a disc (unless it's a oem version ie:- no software just a bare unit) called 'Sonic My Dvd' which is a version of record max now (think they bought out the company)
Hopefully someone has posted a stickie for the use of this because the program although roughly the same the format layout is different.
Post back and i will endevour to post you the instructions on use if you can't find them elsewhere.
