PS2 to PC?

Hello guys,
I wanted to find out something heh dont know if its true or not hopefully you can clear this up for me.someone told me with the right programs i can connect a PS2,xbox or gamecube via the broadband adapters for each system by connecting them through a router or directly to the ethernet port on the PC.I then could extract textures and video from the game in the system and convert it to a readable PC format.Do any of you know if any of this is true?Heres what i am trying to do.I run a site based on the biohazard/resident evil series ( www.bio-hq.com ) and want to search through the game discs looking for any beta things that were scrapped from the final game.I know they are there because i have talked to others that ave done this in the past but didnt go into details on how it was done.This is where i got the above info.Thanks in advance

What do u want to do? Play the ps2 online? you can use a router and connect it to the ps2 and then the router to the pc.

You cannot ftp the ps2 if you were gonna ask that question.

i want to connect the PS2 to my PC in attempt to extract data from the PS2 game in the console to my PC

u can do it anyway lol just put the game into your pc.

the PC doesnt detect DVD roms because i have no DVD drive someone told me i could connect the PS2 to my PC and get them that way lol thats what im trying to find out if its true

Thats bull. Basically thats the way you do it for xbox. Maybe your friend got the 2 consoles mixed up. Although I couldnt see how.

why would u want to put the games on the pc as theres no way of getting them back off unless u got a dvd burner

let me explain lol i run a website based on the Biohazard aka Resident Evil series i want to connect the console to extract texture images from the game for use on the site i dont want to extract the game itself to PC just textures,backrounds and other images that are in the game.i have already done this before with PSX games by ripping them to PC and using a program called Yu-ri to extract the images but PS2 games are dvd based so that method wont work.
