5200 You sure? I never heard that. I guess I could just look at it. I'm gonna just sit and go through a bunch of hard drives I guess to see what works and what doesn't. Being the IT manager, I have a few at my disposal.

Gotta finish my case mod though :p

I have a 40GB IBM 7200RPM sitting in my PS2 at the moment. Now I just have to order the HDDLoader.

The Network Adaptor does. Just slide the IDE drive onto the adaptor and the adaptor into the expansion slot of the PS2.

so with a hdd loader u could use the pressed hdd loader to load onto the hdd and then install games on the hdd that would be cool so u could play backups w/o a mod chip if the hdd is a self boot disk cause i kinda dout that the ps2 checks for protactions on the installed games

I suppose it's possible. As far as I know, it is self-boot using the same methods as the AR discs.
