Hello everybody,

i'm a newbie in PS2 DVD backup.

After having been a little too speedy by burning an iso file with nero (and then made a coaster) as i was used to do it with CDR, i looked all through the web to get informations.

I thougth i got it when i made the second coaster, using recordnow MAX 4.50.

As i would really like to stop to produce coaster, i'm looking for knowledge from the people who know a lot.

I'm using the following configuration to do the burning :
- soltek eq3401 with a P4 3GHz
- Memorex DVD-R, purple media.
- Plextor DVD writer 708
- an .iso file
- Record Now 4.50, using image menu, and mode1 in the option (default option, is it the right one ?)
- Old PS2 (V3/V4), with messiah one. Is able to read Memorex DVD-R backup.

The result of the nero burning was that the DVD would not been readable on PC, and considered as blank.

The result of the recordnow is a readable DVD on pc. When i boot it on ps2, i have the boot screen, the PS2 white stuff, and then the memory explorer.

Thank you in advance for everybody who could provide any informations.
