Painkiller 1.15 already excist on the GCW (http://m.spacetarget.com/games/pc_painkiller.shtml). However the dev people have the version number wrong. The correct version is 1.15 and not 1.5!

And EMPiRE have version number wrong.
Painkiller v1.0 [ENGLISH] Fixed EXE 07-05-2004

Install the game - Full Installation.
Apply the official Painkiller v1.15 Patch.
Replace the original ENGINE.DLL, PAINKILLER.EXE & PAINGAME.EXE files with the ones from the File Archive.
Play the Game!

i was surprised, too. first patch 1.1 was released and then 1.5?? the gameindustry isn't so far i think, but maybe in a few years, when games get even more buggy*lol*

I'am using the game version 1.15 with the 1.15 Deviance NoCD Fix and I before the patch was released I used version 1.0 with the 1.0 Deviance NoCD Fix. But with booth versions it sometimes takes a long time until the game loads a savegame.

I'am unable to try it with the uncracked exe because my original only works with a crack.

Does anybody knows these problem and / or how to fix it?
