Halo Custon Edition No CD Patch?

ok guys its my first time posting in the forums! hi everyone and i love this place,
halo custom edition is out and i need a no cd patch for it, i'm using one for halopc but that doesn't work for halo custom edition :( i don't want my CD out, (to tell the truth, i have no idea were i put it :( so is there a patch being made or will there ever be? please say yes !!! thanks!!!

You dont need a patch for this game anyway, at least thats what I am led to believe. Its a standalone a game, that has nothing to do with Halo. From what I quickly read on fileplanet, all you need is the original Halo CD in order to install the add on and then a legit Halo CD Key.

nope, a patch is needed. You must have the cd in the drive to start halo ce. And if youve misplaced yours, well, then you need a patch! Lets hope someone makes one soon.

Well I guess I was wrong, go piss and moan about me in the Off Topic forum. Either way, that 'patch' only came out earlier today. So you got a long wait on your hands, buddy.
