Version 7 with Magic 3.1 problems

Ok here are the symptoms. I installed the chip, everying seemed fine for a couple of hours then it stopped working. The system would turn on but wouldn't recognise any games backed up or original. I opened it up again and fiddled with the wires, just checked every thing. Tried the system and it worked for a couple of hours. Ect, ect..... Also when the system stops working the disk tray will eject but wont close again. Any ideas?

First suggestion, remove the install totally then make sure you can play the PS2 with an original for a few hours to make sure the system is OK still.

Second suggestion, take the magic 3.1 and pop it in the micro wave, then put peanut butter on it and give it to the dog for a snack.

Third suggestion, get a real mod chip this time, and have a pro install it for you, or buy a good chip from a pro at the same time you purchase the install.

yea just get a new mod there crap! get a magic v if u like magic modchips.

yea just replace the chip get a more reliable one like duo or the magic v if u like the magic team.
