Need a little more help

First, thanks to you those of you that have pointed me to the info I need. Next problem. I'm having a bitch of a time unzipping files? What am I doing wrong..

What software are you using to unzip the files? And how are you doing it?

I am using wizip..

Are you positive they are zip files? Have you actually checked the extension?

I assumed they would be opened with winzip. If not winzip what opens a downloaded file in this arena?

What are you trying to unzip? And what is the extension?

Are you sure they aren't .rar files?
