OK last and final question.

What is the best method for burning Xbox backups, ISO using ISOCraxtion or a straight data burn?

And....

When using ISOCraxtion should I patch the game files or does it really matter?

Yeah man, go with the data method. take notice of the pro's:D

Note: You can patch the xbe's with craxtion prior to burning if you want, yet if you have the latest bios' you dont have to if it's a media check your worried about.

Most of the newer games i.e EA titles stop you from playing from HD, but there is a work around this now.

if its only 1 game data burn. but if you are adding a few games together craxton an iso works great. i just wish some1.possibly even craxton could write such a simple program for playstation2

Every Time I tried to install Record Now, I got an error message of some kind. I tried Data burn on other software and it does not work. Also craxtion will not build image in 988SE and it won’t run at all in XP.
So I’ve been using XISO for single or multi DVD’s. I believe ISO is the better and more like original CD’s but if other methods work fine for you then that’s great. Having a PC compatible burn would be somewhat desirable. XISO’s compatible check does not seem to make folder contents compatible.
