HELP! Magic 3 MOD [Archive]

I have a Magic 3 mod, and I have backup FFX-2 3 times.
and the game stops and freezing, yes I have tried all media
even verbatim, People say the its the MOD, but doesnt the MOD
only boot the games.

Have you tried a different copy of the game? You already own the game, so just borrow another media from a friend or rent one that may be in better condition. Have you tried that?

The Magic 3 did have issues with some games. Not sure about FFX-2.

Doesnt the MOD only boot the game. so how could it be the MOD

I believe its games like SWAT that have a 2x TOC check.

Even my originals crash too like a brand copy of Simpsons
Hit and run runs for a while but crashes, all my other older backuped games Devil my Cry work, should I unmod my PS2

What does the 2x toc do.

If the originals crash then i would think its something other than the chip. It could be a cooling issue or maybe a laser issue. You may want to contact Shadowknyght ( in case he doesnt read this) You can do that through his profile on this forum. He is a excellent installer/ Troubleshooter and is located in Australia. Maybe he can fix it or help you out with a pre modded unit with a updated chip. BTW what version is this console??
