How did you get te little check mark thingy in the address bar

favorite icons, most servers do it now, i think the filename is /favorite.ico or favicon.ico or something

Well, I always get that Icon crap by accident. Just click and drag the small Internet Explorer icon next to the http: (assuming u use IE of course). Then just close IE down, and when you reopen the icons are there.

I dont want to get them to display on my system for me I want to get them to display on outher persons computers from my website

like tippex says, the favicon.ico needs to be on the webserver. when opening the site, IE checks for presence of that icon.
