wierd rom size!!

can anyone help ihave written roms to my flashcard with no problems but i have found that some of my roms only show a file size of 0.50 mbits when i try to flash them to the cart and they will not run do i need to patch them or am i doing something wrong the roms i have found this problem on are goldensun 1+2 and also balders gate dark alliance any help will be greatly appreciated.

the MB cards dont mean megabytes
like 512MBs arent 512 megabytes

sorry i dont think i have explained well the problem im having is that i have two files both the same size metroid zero 8.00 MB and golden sun 8.00MB but when i try to flash them both to the card the software im using shows metroid zero as being 63.75 Mbits which i understand but goldensun only appears as 0.50 Mbits which is way too small do i need to add another file to the cart to get this rom to run? thank you AXmichigan for your quick reply any more help would be great

how big is ur card?
if its like 64

cuz theres no more room left!

i have a 512 ezfa powerstar and i get the same result with these roms if i flash only the 1 rom to the cart so space is not an issue it just doesnt like the roms for some reason
