problem with ps2

i belive its a v.4? if that matters, on origonal dvd movies it will play for a while, then screen usually turns blue or parts turn blue, but the sound will still play normal, it will play copy games with swap magic fine, and original games, and copied movies just not originals? WIEEEERRRRD :P could someone please tell me how to fix it?

You don’t have your PS2 connected through AV inputs on a VCR do you? You can’t view DVD Movies through most VCR’s, you need a direct TV connection or an RF Modulator or a Macrovision Hack chip.
