As long as the PS2 is reading everything well i see no need to upgrade.

I agree, I also see no need to upgrade if your messiah is working good stay with it. However I must add that if I was in the market to upgrade, I wouldn’t be looking to the DMS3, if the matrix infinity turns out to be what they say it is, I would look that direction instead. I'm considering it myself, only for the fact that it auto detects ALL media!! It would be like playing a stock console, no button sequences to push to boot to different modes. Also its flashable just like the DMS3 and has a lower wire count as well. This chip IF it turns out to be what they say it is will be the future of mods my friends. I'm going to be ordering a few soon, and hopefully a review as well.

Oh also the matrix infinity has macrovision off. It also has PSX stealth capability built in to it for the V9 and V10 PS2's. Too bad they couldn’t get the PSX stealth to work on all versions, but with the other features this chip is suppose to boast, this is a very minor detail.
Welcome back freak:) There is no need to upgrade. You have a very good setup as is.
