I'm clearing my weekend so i can finally install my DUO chip on my V4 PS2 :D (the laser is working fine) question, i know most guides suggest .25 rosin core solder...i've looked all over madison and can't find any .25. i have a tube of .032 rosin core, from radioshack. is that okay to use? i have a nice 15w/30w iron, but the tip is too large. i bought the 15w pencil iron from radioshack: http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F011%5F009%5F007%5F003&product%5Fid=64%2D2051&site=search
I have nice 30AWG kynar and 22AWG stranded wires, got a fiberglass pen and wire strippers, de-soldering braid, and everything else i need to do the install. i've soldered on computer mobos before, so i have an idea of what i'm doing.

thx,

That solder will work just fine, so will that iron. Good luck this weekend and remember to have fun with it and take your time.

BTW I like your sig!
