how to increase the overall speed??

i use recordnow max 4.5 to build a global-image from a ps2 game but i only have 2.2x overall speed and instant when using DVR-105 and 3.6x and DDU1621. i updated my pxengine(pxengine 358) but still no help so i want to know can it be fix to go faster??

sony dvd-rom DDU1621
windows xp pro P4 2.4G 256ram

If your trying to read a dvd movie then its the speed lock that your drive automatically comes with. Certain drives will read dvd movies faster or slower than others. The normal is 2x. I have a philips that lets me get up to 4.5x.

i ask that because i use Primo before and it can go up in between 50x-60x for my DVR-105.
