Hi! Does anyone know how to remove the black borders when trying to play NTSC version of RE:CV in PAL DC.
I know there's a patch for it (found in MegaGames), but the image must be in ISO format and mine is *.CDI. The problem is that I don't know how to make ISO from a *.CDI. Can somebody please help me...

If my memory serves me well, it's a classical 60 Hz patch.
Use my tool (PAL Patcher) and patch "50 to 60 Hz".

Doesn't work. I chose 50Hz->60Hz, PAL protection 1&2, and it just doesn't work. It boots the game, but after the SEGA logo it goes to the DC settings screen without starting the game.

I also tried it without the PAL Protections but the same thing happened.

Well, I give up and try to get used to those black borders.

Which version of PAL Patcher are you using ?

Patch only "50->60 Hz".

Like I mentioned before, I also patched it using only the "50 to 60 Hz" patch. PAL Patcher was 1.1 version.

I (accidentally) used "50 to 60Hz" with PAL protections on the CD1. It didn't work. After SEGA logo, DC setting screen appeared. Then I made a copy of the CD2 image and run the patch using only the "50 to 60Hz". The same thing happened. SEGA logo and then DC setting screen.

Well, it seems like "50 to 60Hz" doesn't work for every game.

The image was downloaded from suprnova.org (Can I say this? :confused: )
