Im trying to make an ISO file of the game, MOH:rising sun. Each program errors out before completing. Had no problems with NFS or NFL street. I wonder if its because of the 4.25 gig size? any ideas? i dont want to use DVD decrypter cause it didnt work the last time. Also DVD Decrypter adds some extra file besides the ISO file.
u may have to try DVD decrypter cause RNM and Primo r picky about makeing games every now and then u could also try nero and make a imge and use ultroiso to change the img to iso

I agree with EVOEvo 100% I use DVD Decrypter and have never had one error, coaster, or fail. So far it's been flawless. There's a lot of people that swear by RNM but I'm not buying. I made a back up of MoH: Rising Sun with Decrypter and didn't have a problem.
the format of your HDD must be NTFS, otherwise you can't save ISOs larger than 4GB on your HDD.
I disagree, RNM has proven time and time again to be the best. Nothing against DVD decrypter but PS2 games are not protected with Macrovision or any other protection to warrant decrypting. Fact is no matter what you use if you get read errors you will usually burn coasters.
RNM is what i always use but when it does'nt work i will use DVD decrypter or nero :)

i have a fat32 system and dvd decrypter made 2 iso files
yes dvddecrypter split it to two file (.I00 , .I01) but winimage only see the first part and you even can't inject file correctly and the worst thing, if you burn these two part with other programs, they only burn the first part and your game won't load on your PS2.
So you must have NTFS format for working on bigger games like MOH.

khafan:
Thats exactly what happened. DVD decrypter made 2 ISOs and then the MDS file. WinImage would open the I00 file and i injected it BUT would not open the I02 file. I used DVD Decrypter to burn the image by selecting the MDS file. Its gets past the PS2 logo screen and then to the LOADING and hangs from there.
Should i partition a part of my HDD(5gigs) for NTFS so then i can store the ISO there? will that work?
yeah that's good idea, format one partion of your HDD in NTFS, also you must have Win2K/WinXP and the large ISOs won't be splitted any more.

No arguments Warlock. RCN has proven it's the best. I was just trying to offer another opinion since he was having some problems. But, read errors are read errors no matter what the software. Me bring in college, and RCN costing money to use may have something to do with why I choose DVD Decrypter ;)

so what is some one to do with a Fat32 system and a PS2 game that is over 4gigs? Cause WinIMage will not correctly patch the img file if the game is in 2 files.
well there's another way, if cd/dvd generator can recognize your 104 burner. however I saw in the readme file that dvr-104 is supported.
you should first extract files from game disk with isobuster, then replace the dnas271.img with patched one and drag&drop files and folder to cd/dvdgen and burn them directly with cd/dvdgen without need to create ISO file.

what if i extracted the MOHRS files from the disc using ISObuster, then replaced the DNAS file, then used Stomp to burn the folder/files to dvdr? I cant figure cd/dvd gen out. wouldnt that work using stomp. I could use the Data Disk method then add the folders and then the 2 files.
