in a topic i started below i stated problems with CDRecord and Echelon's tutorial.

I was told that because my cd burner is external i won't be able to get it to communicate with my computer and get the numbers required to use CDRecord.

I wonder...

Are their any other ways i can sucessfully do the eschelon methood with a External drive?

thanks again you guys are great,

mike

I have an external usb burner and use cdrecord just fine. It might depend on the burner. Some people claim that discjuggler is a piece of sh*t, when their problem is a software compatability. Just because their burner doesn't work with it doesn't mean the software sucks.

Try Isobuster to get the SCSI Bus ID#. It's the drop down menu on the top.
