Well, I have been noticing that the size of some of the ps2 isos run about 1.2 gb. Though, it is more than a cd it is only a portion of a dvd. Is there any way to put multiple backups on one dvd.

do a search.. also check out put mulip/multiple in the search. there is a game selector menu out there and some ppl have tried it and been able to put games on a dvd and get to the selector screen but after that they all get hung up.

Are you actually planning to waste your money on a dual layer burner, just to fit more games onto a single dvd?

"Although the current DVD recorders 8X have the necessary energy in their laser beam (30mW), for writting a DVD+R9 disc, nobody can assure that a firmware update is enough for converting them in DVD+R9 writers - and this because the official specifications for the DVD+R9 writers will not be out before the end of December 2003. The sure thing is that the 4X DVD recorders will not be able to write on DVD+R9 discs because of their low energy laser beam."

I don't know about anybody else, but i can't see where i said I was going to get one.

Me personally I couldn't be bothered even trying this. Add to that dvd9 media when it comes out will more than likely be more than double the price of a dvd5 blank, so it's not going to be financially viable.

However, I stand by my statement as it is a valid point in response to a valid statement.
