One of the games that I'm trying to get to work over and over is Soul Calibur. I have gotten the file MANY times. Sometimes the archive is titled as "Soul Calibur US", or something simply "Soul Calibur". But every time I get a new archive of the game the same problem occurs after I burn it and try to play it in my DC - the screen is all messed up - I assume that b/c I keep DLing the PAL version of the archive rather than the NTSC version. But even when I DL a version labeled as the US/NTSC edition - I still get that flickering screen problem (similar to what happens if you try to play a PAL PSone game in a NTSC PSone).

So is there a patch or what?

Thanks

if it flickers, then its the PAL version. on most PAL games, there is a 50hz/60hz selector upon boot. all you do to play on a ntsc system, is to press RIGHT on the d-pad once, then push A. this will start the game in 60hz, which works on all ntsc systems. try it out, tell me if it works.
