i have a v3 ps2 and want to get it chipped, i have looked through sticky thread and could only find 1 for UK does any 1 know of any others. also wot chip should i get messiah2 or dms3 or r there any others worth considering.
The best advise would be to get a newer PS2 Version5 or above
then get a Duo or Messiah 2 Fitted
The older Version 3 PS2 are more likely to give problems due to worn laser

This is very good advice. I would say go for the DUO for sure especially is your going to be doing the install your self with the V3 mainly because of its easy install with its low wire count. But unless you can find a version V8 or under the Duo want work in the new V9's and V10's. So if you plane on installing a chip in the V3 just to see if you can get it to work, but want a chip that you can take out and put in a new V9 or V10 incase the V3 gives you laser problems, my first suggestion would be the Apple3 its the newest version from the apple team and it works on all versions of the PS2 currently on the market. However you may want to have a pro install it for you, since you are in the UK look here for both.
