Bear in mind i have trouble with a VCR :) is there a utility that can copy my own game CD for a back up, and one where i dont have to put in a CD to play a game

Luckly as for your question yes there is a program what can do both of what you was asking about try a program called clonecd im not sure of where the web site is but get onto a search engine & punch that in & you should get back some download links related to that program.hope this helps you :)

Sorry to be the bearer off bad news, but CloneCD has been nailed by the copyright nazi's. Elaborate Bytes is the mob that developed Clone, and they got told to shutdown selling\updating\developing Clone.
They cant even do trial versions.
Strange thing is, they still have CloneDVD goin, weird huh?

Hmmm dont know how accurate this info is! Ive never heard it but that doesnt mean its not true! However I do know that 'Slysoft' took over CloneCD. You can download the trial version here: http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html ;)
And 'nicebutdimtim' check out the 'stickys' for a game copy tutorial in the PC Games section. :)

if u cannot get cloneCD to work i would reccomend trying Game X Copy

Alcohal 120% does the trick, it creates a virtual drive that lets you load .iso's and other CD images.
