I just got a mod chip installed in my V10, and I have yet to make a back up yet.

However, I've been using CD Technology 4X media for all my DVD movie back ups and had no problems. I went to DVDINFO and found that they had the 1x listed as Princo, and I e-mailed the company with no response.

I'm a college student with little money to spare, and I get a kick butt deal on these DVD's...

Do you guys think they'll be okay, or should I just bite the bullet and somehow find some money to order Ritek's?

If I do need to order Ritek DVD-R's, which ones to I get?

To be honest Pinco's are not too good. They may work in your PS2 for some time but because they are of very poor quality they will make your laser work very hard, thus over time stressing your laser unnecessarily, in turn possible wearing it out in do time.

Ritek G03's or G04's are your best bet. www.meritline.com is a great place to purchase them with free shipping a lot of the time.
