whats the best avi-dvd converter??

ive done a couple movies w/ cucusoft and the pic quality suck, granted i dont hafta sit in front of the comp 2 watch a movie but i wouldnt wanna waste another dvdr on that crap. i havent had a prob w/ the audio but the pic is real ---blocky(sorry dont know the correct word) pls hlp

I use Ulead DVD movie factory it was packaged with my DVD recorder it works pretty good but now I mostley use the Playstation2 Divx player to play movies on the TV sence you already got a moded PS2 you may want to look into that
