hi folks!
i am searching for a no-CD for the game "donald duck in goin quackers".
i know there has been a rip of the game, so there must be a crack, too.
does somebody have it? or has somebody the rip and could pass the exe+ini to me?
thanks in advance,
tm

sure, but it is legal to own the rip if you got the original cd, i think....

So why have a rip when you have the original cd? Why not just make your own copy? DUH.....

This was a question about a NoCD, not to make another copy...

right! my little brother loves to play this game, but he always damages his cd-roms. so making a new copy of the original every month is annoying.
this is why i asked for a noCD.
i wrote the thing with the RIP because i thought, if there is a rip, then there must exist a noCD, too.
i am NOT searching for a RIP!
and i know how to copy cds, thats not my problem...
would be very happy if somebody could help me with that.
TIA,

Hmmm...according to some sites it's protected with Cd-checks+reroutes....no impossble to fix if you're a little bit "handy"

dunno...
i tried disasm and 74->EB and so on, but the exe file crashes all the time when i get near to the check itself.
because of that i thought there might be some CRC check inside, and i am not that experienced cracker to know how to remove crc-checks.
btw, does somebody know where to find some tutorials on cracking DOS-games with cd-checks?
/ADD: could you describe what "reroutes" are? my english knowledge is limited, cause i don't speak english natively...
