View Full Version : how do u tell a fake
hi i broght duo chips off www.modzone.com and all worked 100%
and there is a link off the duo site for this company. they look the same as what is on the duo site but other sites the same chip looks diffrent. On the ones i have seen the duo mark in on the black part of the chip but others on the net have the mark on the top corner of the blue part of the chip so which ones are the real thing??

i think real chips have duo written on the top right side as well as printed on the actual chip. ie duo written twice.
r urs like that?
plus they seem to be an official reseller.

There are some very good clones around but the ones I have seen did not come in an anti-static bag or have the sticky pad on the rear of the chip.
Whats the point of cloning a cheap chip? I was offered Duo clones for £1 each more than I pay for the originals!
Just for the record Sawdust, original Duo chips are available in the UK.
thanks for the help every one the ones i have are real so. hull chipper were can i get the duo in the uk? I can get them for €15 a chip the best i could get in the uk was £14 which is about €20 each
