After using crack for single player now says cannot find "configure.csv".

It doesn't mean he didn't buy the game...it just means that the crack is causing him problems.

What Eagle MEANT to say was...re-install the game and live without the CD crack if you are getting this error.

if I remember correctly, the error with configure.csv was a typical error with the deviance (or was it fairlight?) warez release of COD.
