Hi! Im thinking of changing my Magic 3.0 to another chip... But is Messiah/DMS3 still the best chips? I looked at an add in a newspaper, and they are selling chips called BOOTCHIP PS2, and Ripper 2 Ultra. Anyone knows about those?

Yours Albin

The popular opinion is that the Messiah 2 is still the best mod chip at booting all ps2 games, however ask anyone with a dms an they'll tell u that it beats the M2.

As for the other chips, The M2 is cheap enough to compete with all of them so why consider anything else.

If u really think that yr gonna use the extra features that dms offers then pay the extra, if u just want a chip for booting backups go for m2.

thnx! that's what i tought, but it has been a while since i read about ps2 mods so i wasn't sure anymore... :) i think i buy a M2, but i would realy like the "remove green-screen on dvd" that DMS3 offers... is there any other good way to remove the green-screen, accept "dvd region free CD", DMS3 and using a less good cable, like a S-VHS-cable ?

thnx for all!
