The original Squad Assault exe did not have any copy protection, but protection was introduced with the patches. I did a search, but none of the threads had come up with a solution. The protection is a cd-check. If you've got the crack or if you've got suggestions please let me know.

Yes, I would also like to know if there is a way to play Squad Assault: West Front without the CD. I have the original game but I always need to have the CD in my drive. And this way I cannot create "effective" backups (without the need of the original CD that is) of my original game since they will not "work".

I would greatly appreciate if someone could inform me how to "bypass" the CD check in this game (already in it's v1.80 patch).
