i alredy installed the media player on the xbox
and i can run it..
but i cant manage to transfer divx,avi, mp3 or any kind of file
to the e drive of my xbox
what program do i need to transfer file to it?
and how do i set them up?
do i have to make a folder inside the xbox for the files?

u needa ftp client
and a crossover cable.. do u have those?

yeah.. sure i ahve those..
i use them to backuo my games

then just use the ftp client to transfer the stuff uw ant to ur box..?

and keep in mind, that the xbox can only have like 32 characters or somethin, so if they are big filenames.. shorten them dooown

i tried to transfer some avi files and a mp3
to the e drive so i can use them with the xbmp but i couldnt
i had a message saying transfer error..
:(
BTW: to be able to play the files once i have transfered
i need to creater a carpet for the files?
inside the XBMP carpet or i can create it where i want?:confused:

yeah... the XBMP boot fine..
itīs just that i cant manage to run anything because i am unable to transfer any file to the E patition of the 8g harddrive
i can online transfer applications
but no mp3 or video files..
:(
and i wanted to know why?
plus i wanted to know if you made a folder for all the files you run on your XBMP and what name did you put on it

u check the config.xml file with notepad on ur comp
