I want to get some mp3's on my xbox hdd. If I burn a music cd using a cd-rw and then boot to ms-dash so that I could transfer them, will that work ? Or is there another way that has to be done. Also, is there a way to rip the songs onto the hdd from the evox dash ?

If you burn the mp3s as audio then u should be able to just use the ms dash to rip the files straight from the cd-rw.

You could also use boxplorer to copy the mp3s from cd-rw to HDD but i think you'll have to create an iso in order for the xbox to be able to read the files on the cd-rw.
And then play them with xbmp.

i think u wanna make it so that its like a soundtrack on the xbox hdd
first of all u needa convert the mp3's to wmas usin somethin like advanced wma workshop or somethin..
then get Xbox Soundtrack Editor from like.. xbins then u can copy it through that
