swap magic problem

When I put in the swap magic dvd, sometimes it will never load. I keep having to reset. I hit x on browser and it comes with disc read error. Usually I get it after the third try. Anyone know what the problem is?

Im sorry to tell you this. But them swap magic discs you have are about to make your ps2 explode! Dont use them!
I have seen so many cases of peoples ps2's exploding due to these 'harmless' discs!
That disc read error is the begining. It will soon move onto worse things. And eventually to the death of your console.
Best get a modchip quick!
Its the only thing that can help you now !

The problem is you are using a boot disc. It gets scratched and takes damage just like any other disc. Soon it wont read at all. Thats what happens when you depend on this crap to play backups. Its $20 bucks here, $20 bucks there, before you know it you will be spent more than enough to get a no-swap+install.

lol WTF u mean blow up like a bomb lol they dont hurt the unit lol thats the funneiest s**t i ever heard ROLF the reason why it dose not load is ur prob got a bad disk it dont take much like littles scratchs then they dont want to load u will need to get it cleaned some video stores and cd stores dose this for 3$ makes the disk look like new and u can always use the cd loader if nothing else u can get it at www.swapmagicfix.com it uses the wm cd disk to load dvd games but u got to do more swaping

What i was trying to get the guy todo is get a modchip!
So we dont have to keep answering posts about peoples crappy discs not working or not booting games!

Your title says it all. Swap Magic Problem.

Swap Magic IS the problem. Its like having a car that doesn't have an electric starter motor.

You can still get it to start by doing a push start but how much easier would turning a key be??

i read about this trick on ownz unplug all ur cords duel shocks and mem card and trun off the power with the switch in the back for 30 secs then try loading it i have no idea how that helps but they said its a glitch in the swap disk u might have to have the disk in the ps2 its always worth a try u can read more about it on www.ps2ownz.com in the swap magic section
