View Full Version : Is there a way to unpatch a game?
Like after you apply the Paradox Universal Patcher, is there a way to reverse that process?
M8,
There is a program that will unpatch a BIN file for you. I cant remember the name of it but if you head over to www.megagames.com and check out there playstation2 utility section it should be in there, or around that way.
If you have not luck post back ill have a hunt around and find it for ya!!!!
Goodluck

Thanks a lot mate! I found that little PPF reverser on megagames.com, but now I have to find the "Swap Utility" patches for like 120 games.... Can u help me find some of them?
I'm trying to understand your problem that is solved by the "Swap Utility" patches. What PS2 do you have? Jap? Why do you need to back out of the Universal Patcher.
####://www.ps2ownz.com lists the patches for each boot method. I assume for the moment that you have a JAP PS2 and swap with the Utility Disk. What modchip do you have? SO far as I know the Universal Patcher is the surest way of getting a backup to boot with the Utility Disk.
M8,
So whats up matey, what do you expect to happen once you have reversed the patch, what is the game your trying to unpatch and why do you wanna up patch it???
like i said inn my last post i knew there was something that did it, but how to use it effectively i have no idea.
Hopefully Charlie can help you out, as he has patched many games for his JAP PS2.
Cheers
Dal
