I would go with the magic V, but if you want some extra features get the DMS3.

What would the benifits be between them. It's kinda hard to tell the difference.

non really duo only has 17 wires which has less interruption on the cd/dvd controler

Well, I got the mod Norcalmods was AWSOME!!, excellent service. Kinda a hijack on the thread - but figured it may pertain because I've heard good things about the magic chip. I cannot play a multiple elf backup with the Apple-pro. Is ther a work-around? Or should I have gone a different chip route.

i vote dms3, the first and last modchip you will ever need.

Specifically, Midway Arcade Treasure - uses multiple elf files for each game. The menu boots, then dies afterwards. BTW This is on a backup.

Use eject to power on your ps2, not reset, and it will play all.

Moved to another thread.

FileForums > GameCopyWorld > PS2 Games > PS2 V7 Apple Pro mod - Not playing multi elf files.

Might be a backup prob., but I doubt it.
