Althoygh i can burn i cd in my dvd/rw of my notebook i can't burn a dvd. It looks that all are ok but when i am trying to play the dvd i take the message that the format of the disk is not correct.

Can anyone help me?

How did you burn? What media? What are you trying to play it with?

i can't write to a dvd (a movie or data) althoygh with this device i can write to a cd.
It's a DVD/RW device of a Gericom Notebook

Can u help me?

You didn't say what brand or type of media you are using, but I would try a different brand.

Thank you i will try a different media brand although i have write 3 movies at the beggining with the same brand media.

My media are Princo......
I wrote 3 movies but from then i can't burn no more dvd (movie or data)
I can write from my notebook writer (Gericom) to a cd but i can't write to a dvd
Y think is hardware problem or something else.

* I have not tried yet with another brand dvd media.

Princo can be very crappy media. The rates are higher that most dvd players cant even read them.
