Problems booting PS2 backups

I have read the ultimate sticky and I am still having problems. In the past I haven't had problems booting PS2 backups with the GS2 method. Now for some reason I can't get the GS2 to boot at all. It reads " no data" reading disk. I have a neo2.2 chip in a V-5 I think, it's a scph-30001-R, PS2 console. I used riteck disks with recordnow.
I have tried turning unit off,count to five, power up. Also hold the reset button. Nothing works!! Can someone please help me?

seems like your laser has gone.

try taking out the neo 2.2 then see if it will boot.

What do you suggest I do from this point? I didn't install the chip! I had a professional do it. it's only been in my system since December!! Thats only 2 months!!

blooody hell, hmm u better contact him u may still have some installers warranty.
