Ok, I have been reading the forums for the last couple of weeks looking for anyone who has this problem or anyone who can solve it... still looking.
Tyler has some good answers, hope someone can help with this.

When Burning/backing up DVD's with Clone (and ANYDVD) 3 times out of 5 I will get this error message.

ERROR CREATING DVD FILES
Creation of DVD Files Was Not Sucessful:
Schedular O F:/Video_TS/VTS_01_2.vob:23
Read Error TC Sector Reader TCE
OK

Now, I get this message when it is trying to read the disk.

With Lizzy McGuire it did it at 13%, Johnny English was at 9% while Buffalo Soldiers got to 90%(!!!).
I have tried to copy & paste the video & audio files directly onto my hard drive, but that has failed during the video file as well.

I tried to clean the disks using Car Polish (I think it was Tyler that made that suggestion in an earlier post) and even an electric buffer, but even thats no good. And yes, there are little scratches on the disk, but surely if its good enough to play the thing through one of the players, its good enough to burn.

I am using latest Clone & Sly
Sony DRU +/- Burner
My undies are a size...
and i'm a piscies

I take it your using AnyDVD and CloneDVD with the movie being ripped on the fly. I recommend just ripping the movie to your hdd first (the entire movie) then while the movie is on your hdd use CloneCD to rework it to fit on a dvd.

Make sure you have AnyDVD ON. Then just browse the dvd. Copy all the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder to a folder on your hdd. You can just drag and drop all of them.

Sorry dude, thought i already said, I tried to copy and paste them directly onto the hard drive and it always fails during the video_TS folder.
I was all excited, thinking you were going to show me the way...

Ok another way to do it is just get dvd decrypter from www.dvddecrypter.com. Set it to select all files and use it to transfer all your files to your hdd.

Ok, Here is the update...
Copied Movie successfully to hard drive although I had to lose one file to do it. Is there a way to lode only part of a file or is it all or nothing?

Tried to copy using clone and got the following error message:

Creation of DVD was not sucrssfull.
Missing Title VOB File(s) named VFS_01_*(VobSet 9 1 0 2222942 2223115 2222942 TCE)
OK.

Does this mean that the file I had to delete was an all important one?

I bet thats the file thats been haunting you all along. It seems to me that you just have a bad block and it will not extract no matter what you do.

You can try and load up your files on CloneDVD now but I think it may give an error. If not, then just rip as normal and maybe youll be fine.
