helpp on dvd-r

when i burn compusa cd dvd-r 1x(a backup dvd movie) to watch on ma psx2 it work fine until the end of the movie it start to skip and freeze. i was wondering if i use the same cd to burn psx2 game would it start to skip and mess up toward the end of the game..?

Skipping and freezing at the end of a movie is almost always due to crap media. Get some Ritek.
