Okay, I've searched the forums, Now how do i connect NFS- Underground online??

I go to the EA website, install the latest patch. I assume the latest patch is 1.4 because thats the latest crack, I install the crack, and the game loads fine without the disk, the only problem is, when I click "Play Online" It stays at the "Connecting to EA.com" and never connects. PLMK if anyone can help. Thanks!

Oh ,and also when I start the game it says version "1.3.0.0" or whatever at the top...

There is a lot of mis information surrounding NFSU's patches:

-There is NO patch 1.4
-There IS a version 1.3 patch #4
-The latest patch you get by using NFSU's auto updater, is 1.3 patch #3
-Cracks for version "1.4", are really for 1.3 patch #4

Patch to a specific version

1) Download Deviance's RTP Installer (ftp://ftp.gamesurf.de/pub/pc/rennspiel/need_for_speed_7/patches/dev-rtp.zip) for NFSU patches

2) Download the patch version you want:

i) EA's official patches (ftp://ftp.ea.com/pub/ea/patches/nfs-underground/pc/) (up to 1.3 patch #3)
or
ii) version 1.3 patch #4 (http://www.borggaming.edbis.com/nfs_underground/NFSU_US_PATCH_4.RTP) (US English version only. Is this a leak??)

Extract the dev-rtp.exe tool.
Rename the .rtp you want to install to: NFSU.rtp, and place it in the same folder as extracted dev-rtp.exe and run it.

Apply the appropriate NoCD from GCW.

So.. Using the key generator works for offline play, but not online play? and btw thanks wmxp for all the help.
