Can magic 3.1 mod all versions of ps2?

I went to this store and asked to mod my ps2...
but they said it was too old.. if i mod it with mod chip it would only play cd-r games.
The guy said i cant mod my ps2 to play all games
but isnt magic 3.1 mods all ver of ps2?
i know this different place that has magic 3.1 ..
i might mod it there...


P.S how long does it usually take to mod a ps2 if u take it those shops?

As for that Magic 3.1 I would recommend you take it gently place it on the floor and stomp on it as hard as you can.

Magic 3.1's are crap.



What version ps2 do you have? The reason they told you they couldnt mod it, may be because its too old and not worth it. Anything below a v4 is not really worth the time and money to mod because they are very tired ps2's.

its either v3-5 somewhere there

Yeah I guess you could, if you wanted to. Id really only recommend it if you have a v5 though.

Also dont use that magic 3.1 chip, seriously its crap. You wont be able to play a bunch of good games (and no I DONT have a list, nor can I link you to one).

Get yourself a Duo chip from www.modchips.cc they are very good and stable chips for very cheap.

mine plays great its a 3.1 even plays splinter cell and true crimes whats a game that has know problems i would like to try it out :)

If you have a newer console and want a Magic, I hear the Series V chips are very good...
