Hello,

I tried to use Region-X in my PS2 v.9 w/messiah2 and it said it wanted updated codes, didn't find any, so i gave up.

I went to play a game and the memory card wouldn't save.
I reset, went to Browser and ALL the contents weren't there. It reported empty, but with 6704KB free. I'm 100% sure it's regionx's fault, because i reloaded regionx and now the empty space was 7023KB.

The only game that could see it's own files was MYST III and i managed to load.

OK, i lost ALL my saves, but now the memory card is pretty useless. I cannot format through PS2.

Somewhere i read in here that Action Replay is needed, but it's hard to find and more expensive than a new memory card.
Is there any other way to format? Or buy a new card?

Thanks

The MCard Killer worked :( and formatted my card,
Now the MC is fully functional, but due to this
i lost many of my saves (100+ hours of gaming)

Anyway, thank you for your advice.

Oh, just another question.
If i hadn't modded my PS2, how could i load the MCard Killer, since it was cd-r?

You could load it with swap magic but instead of wasting your money on swap magic, you could buy action replay cheaper and more useful. :)
