Vietcong v1.41

I installed Vietcong, applied patch v1.01, v1.30 and v1.41, and it won't load after you choose to start a new game - the system hangs. And that's using the new Fairlight crack.
Prior to this, the game would simply disappear when you tried to start it. The Vietcong file forums said to use 32-bit color and make sure the resolution of the game matches your windows resolution.
P.S. The gamecopyworld instructions say to apply the v1.41 update but it won't install without the v1.30 update first.
Is there a solution?

dont have that problem.

but i think the *proper* fixed exe from fairlight still is not *proper* as I have difficulties throwing grenades. with the crack most grens simply drop to the ground making me run very fast :D

without the crack they fly fine making the gooks run fast :D
