A little time ago, my little sister practically trashed my halo cd. I was unable to use the cd afterwards.
I formatted my harddrive, but I could not install halo since the cd was broken. Thus, I downloaded halo from eMule (which is legal since I own the game) in a .bin format. Then I burned it in Alcohol 120% by mounting the .bin file on the Virtual cd rom, and made a on-the-fly copy.
After the burning process was completed, I could not install the game. I got an error that said something like this: "Could not open the data.cab file due to low memory or that the file is corrupt.
Now to the point: I know that I can call tech support to get a new cd, but I need a backup of the game!
