i was wondering can nero 6 do a backup of a dvd movie like dvdxcopy does. i was told it does and it will put a dvd9 onto 4.7gig disc instead of using 2 disc,s

The latest version of Nero vision express2 has a section called "Nero Recode" that put your DVDs to 4.7gig disc and also convert DVDs to mpeg4.
But first you should pay € 24,99 for a serial number that unlock DVD-Video plug-in then you can put DVDs to 4.7gig disc .
and also if you want convert DVDs to mpeg4 with 5.1ch audio, you should pay another € 17,99 to unlock the Multichannel plug-in :)

is it possible to disable copy protection from nero vision express because i have a 7gig disc i want to backup onto one disc( i can back it up on dvdxcopy but with two disc's )every time i try it it will not let me because of the copy protection

You can first decrypt DVD files with "DVD Decrypter" into hard disk then import them to Nero vision express.

Or you could use Anydvd in the background of your pc.

I DOWNLOADED DVD DECRYPTER AND ALCOHOL 120% ---
FIRST I RAN DVD DECRYPTER THEN I CREATED A VIRTUAL DRIVE IN ALCOHOL 120% I OPENED NERO RECODE AND COPIED THE LION KING 2 IT PLAYS 100% .SO THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.
SINCE THEN THIS EVENING WHEN I PUT ON THE COMPUTER IT WAS LOOKING FOR HARDWARE SO I HAD TO OPEN UP IN SAFE MODE I HAD TO DISABLE THE VIRTUAL DRIVE TO RUN THE COMPUTER IS IT POSSIBLE TO LEAVE A VIRTUAL DRIVE OPEN ALL THE TIME OR DO YOU NEED TO CREATE IT EVERY TIME YOU USE ALCOHOL 120% PLUS IT ALWAYS WANTS TO GO ONLINE( SORRY IF THIS IS LIKE A NOVEL )
