Hello,

I am using CloneDVD 1.3.11.2 with AnyDVD 3.2.1.1 and I am having trouble burning -R discs. My burner is an Optorite DD0203 firmware 2.30. DVD -R discs aren't burning at 4x. I am using RITEKG04 discs and Memorox -R 4x. The discs burn at 2x and sometimes when it gets to the burning part it locks up at 0% and ruins the disc. It works fine with all +R I have tried. Also when I use DVD Shrink to rip the files and Nero 6 to burn them it works fine and burns the DVD -R at 4x. I was just wondering if anyone else had similair problems with CloneDVD.

Cheers

Im thinkin thats a burner/firmware prob you got. Also Riteks work with many burners at 4X but wont on others. Find out if your one of the ones it doesnt work on. The +R media your using probably works in your burner.

You may want to contact your burners makers and see if they have any intentions on getting your problem fixed.

The thing is I don't think it is a burner or media problem since it WILL burn at 4x with Nero. It is only CloneCD that it won't burn at 4x with.

Then use CloneDVD to make files and burn with your favorite burning program that burns at 4x.

I actually found I had a media problem recently and I believe that the problem lay with AnyDvd causing lock ups with CloneDVD. As soon as I reverted to my former media AnyDVD worked without a problem.

Strange but true !!!
