power calibration problem

Every time i try to make a backup on a dvd, of my file inside my cpu after the test it said "power calibration error". Can any body help me plz.

Are you making a backup of a file on your pc or of a dvd movie or something else. Do you always test after you burn?

i was never able to burn dvd yet but regular cd no problem same driver

You may wanna contact the company who makes your drive. Maybe they can troubleshoot with you.

What burner do you have?

it said "generic DVD RW 4XMax"

Take it back to Radio Shack and tell them it dont work.
