Im trying to backup my ps2 games i have a Aopen DRW4410 dvd burner that only burns + disks and im using the Gameshark swap method with a slide card im burning with alchahol 120 and i cant seem to get it to work i boot the gameshark press start then withought codes then swap disks and press x it just whistles for a sec then the ps2 freezes its got 8 screws on the bottom so i guess it version 5 well if anyone can help or has anyother questions the pls let me know thanks

If you have a V1-V4 console, your +R disks won't work. If you have a V5 - V9 console, it could be media or the problem could lie somewhere entirely different, i.e.: Boot procedure/disc etc...

You must use the "nightstalker" method posted in the stickys if you have a v5 and are using GS2 along with a hi TOC dvd original.
